Elisabetta Fabri has been President and CEO of the Starhotels Group since 2000. Under her leadership, the group has seen an expansion of its offer thanks to major investments in renovations and new hotels in Italy and Europe.
Dedication and passion for this work, inherited from his father Ferruccio, who founded Starhotels in 1980, are the hallmarks with which he leads the family group, achieving important awards over the years.
A cosmopolitan background combined with a long apprenticeship have enabled her to develop a deep understanding of hospitality management. In 1992 she officially debuted as an entrepreneur with the acquisition of The Michelangelo Hotel in New York, the first hotel opened abroad by Starhotels.
Today Starhotels is Italy's leading private hotel company with the highest level of turnover and is the market leader in the hospitality industry among 4- and 5-star hotels.
With 30 hotels with over 4,200 rooms and luxury residences located in the heart of Italy's major destinations, London, Paris and New York, Starhotels is synonymous with the excellence of Italian hospitality.
The next openings will be in 2025 the Hotel Gabrielli, a historic structure overlooking the Venice Lagoon, which will reopen as a 5-star hotel as part of Starhotels Collezione and Il Teatro Luxury Apartments the new high-end residential asset located in Florence, where the former Teatro del Maggio Fiorentino used to stand.
From 2019, Elisabetta Fabri's passion for authentic Italian craftsmanship is transformed into a patronage project called La Grand Bellezza - La Fabbrica dei Sogni, an initiative to support local Italian craft excellence.
