Founder & Director - THiRTYONE Design + Management
After graduating with honours from the Sapienza University of Rome with a Master's degree in Design, Art and Visual Communication, Claudia Campone began a path of international experience that would later become the backbone of the design studio Thirtyone Design + Management. She spent a year in France at the EDNA École in Nantes before moving to Shanghai in 2007 as Interior Designer.
In 2008 he joined the LVMH group (Fendi) as Designer and Project Manager where he remained for eight years developing numerous retail projects internationally for the brand. During these years, he acquired knowledge of production management in different countries, materials and all aspects of Project Management (Construction Design, Time & Cost Management, Design Engineering).
He left the group in 2015 to found Thirtyone Design + Management, within which he is responsible for Concept Design, Interior Design and Design Research.
Since 2015 he has taught at École CREA in Geneva, RUFA in Rome, Iowa State University and IED in Rome, and Istituto Marangoni in London where he has taught Interior Design and Visual Communication since 2018.
In 2020, in the pandemic era, he launched the POSThome residence in Milan conceived as a space combining optimisation of living functions and design research.
Since 2024, he has edited a monthly column in Elle Decor dedicated to retail design topics and contamination with other design disciplines.
His drawings and illustrations have been used in editorial projects, wallpapers and textile products.
